List of Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons ghee or unsalted butter or vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 sprig curry leaf
- 1tblsp chopped garlic
- 2tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2tblp chilli powder/ kashmiri chilli powder/ mixed masala / hot curry powder
- 1 large cinnamon stick
- 1.5 kg bone-in, skin-off chicken pieces, thighs and drums work well
- 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped/grated/blitzed
- Half a cup of peas
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
- salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish, optional
- Cooked
- rice, chapatti, naan for serving, optional
